Kindergarten St. Johannes
Architects arch I ing ostermeier, Dingolfing, developed their local child daycare centre, St. Johannes, with a comprehensive color concept, as children learn to recognise colors at a very early stage. Five alveolar buildings are designed in different colors so that the children can more easily recognise and find their groups. The vertically mounted ceramic elements of the facade cladding in widths of between 200 and 400 mm are color-glazed. Taking the facade heights of the individual honeycombs of up to 5.5 m into account, each panel is divided vertically once. The joint jumps from tile to tile and produces in this way a "sown" appearance.
