Vector Informatik office building

In addition to the glazed foyer, the post-and-beam facade of Vector Informatik's new building is characterised by the typically red ceramic tiles that vigorously assume the motif of burned clay bricks of the existing building and underline the campus character of the IT company. With rounded building edges and large glass proportions, the architects develop the tradition-steeped facade design in a contemporary manner – without renouncing the aesthetics of the material and the natural chromaticity. A specially created color shade makes the tile facade the elementary component of the corporate identity. Immersed in a warm, dark red, the natural surface produces a harmonious appearance. In close cooperation with the planners, 4,100 m² of facade elements were delivered on an individually dimensioned basis. ALPHATON® brick tiles were used in different formats, from 200 x 400 mm to 200 x 500 mm.
