Residential high-rise, Standstrasse

The facade of the high-rise building in Bern's Wylergut district was renovated in 2016. Rykart Architects and the client attached great importance to the use of high-quality and durable materials, which offer the possibility of a modern design and can therefore enhance the building as well as the entire neighbourhood. Together with Auvero Fassadensysteme, our partner in Switzerland, we therefore developed ALPHATON® panels in volcano gray with a glossy glaze. The individual special shape of the panels gives the strikingly visible high-rise building an exclusive appearance. In addition to its attractive appearance, the new ceramic facade has other advantages: the cost of facade maintenance has been greatly reduced and at the same time the outer shell’s service life has been significantly extended. As a result, both the owners and tenants benefit from this forward-looking refurbishment.
