Neue Mitte

Large-format LONGOTON® tiles were used to construct the "Neue Mitte", a two to three-storey residential and business building. For the ground floor and the top floor, the Gerhard Bichler architecture office from Gangkofen opted for brick tiles with a height of 300 mm and lengths of up to 1,550 mm in order to extend the building visually and to reduce the joint proportion to a minimum. Together with the limitation to just a few window formats and the strict geometry of their arrangement, the facades appear soothingly calm and orderly.
