Chalet 66
Bnaider
Chalet 66 | Kuwait
The owner provided the inspiration for this impressive residence with the idea of emulating the visual appearance of a barn. PAD10 Architects did an outstanding job of translating this idea into a modern piece of architecture. Impressive details pick up the character of a barn in a number of places. An oversized "barn door" acts as a partition wall, for example, in order to create privacy or open up the living area to the world outside. The leitmotif was also perfectly worked into the façade in the form of an ALPHATON® facade in saffron. The ceramic tiles with a special surface are reminiscent of the wood texture of a barn and, thanks to their durable properties and resistance to strong sunlight, are perfect for the exposed location right next to the sea.
