The Edge ElbSide | Hamburg

EDGE ElbSide is one of two office buildings developed by EDGE in Hamburg's HafenCity. It is the largest building constructed in Germany using the so-called Slim-Floor construction method. The Slim-Floor construction method is characterised by savings of almost 50 percent CO₂. A photovoltaic system is also installed on the roof. Thanks to its extremely sustainable measures, EDGE has been awarded the HafenCity Platinum eco-label and WELL Core & Shell Gold. The sustainable and durable ceramic facade, which covers the building in a classic brick red color, also contributes to this.
