The color selection for the new building of the child daycare centre in Landshut was chosen with high sensitivity to the character of the building and with a view to sustainability aspects. Based on the reservedly earth-colored base tones of the brick material, a color sequence develops, running in wave form from the darker nuances to a quite light sand-colored tile and then rising again to the vigorously warm pastel red.

With the selection of simple materials, natural chromaticity and the preference of clear lines, the architects have been consciously reserved; the new building was to present itself, not as obtrusive and flamboyant, but as timeless and sustainable.
