Caesura, Brooklyn
Caesura is a new building for cultural events combined with residential units in downtown Brooklyn Cultural District. The modern building was designed in such a way that it fulfils or exceeds the criteria of Enterprise Green Communities and LEED Silver. Here, the contribution in terms of a sustainable facade is made by volcano gray brick tiles with a specially developed surface, which give the ensemble a special elegance and, due to the irregular surface of the tiles, produce a special play of lights and shadows on the facade.
