The new Campus Financiero in Santo Domingo and its adjacent car park were built to accompany two existing buildings with classic concrete facades. The new building complex was designed with a focus on sustainability and an eye to integrating renewable energy, in line with the company profile. With this in mind, the architects opted for a rear-ventilated tile facade in the classic “natural red” colour. The new car park serves as a perfect junction between old and new. The exterior of the concrete structure is covered with ceramic baguettes which allow for optimal air circulation. The new office complex is clad in straight ALPHATON® tiles. Here, too, the ceramic baguettes make an appearance. This time, they serve as sunscreens, shielding the large window fronts.
