The new “Pluriel” building in Lyon covers 2,200 m² and is based on a timber frame construction. The timber construction, use of various natural building materials and, last but not least, choice of a back-ventilated terracotta façade contribute to a huge CO2 reduction in the construction and use of the building. The project has been pre-certified in France under the E+C label and the BBCA Excellence label*. The architects chose a special shape for the terracotta façade, which was custom produced for the project.
