In New York’s Chelsea neighbourhood, a newly built office tower occupies the busy intersection of 28^th Street and Seventh Avenue. The design by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill provides a filigree-screened, glass facade, characterised by the contrast of the window surfaces to the black, framed ceramic profiles from MOEDING. A specially developed colored glaze and the three-dimensional, protruding structure based on two shell-shaped ceramic elements based on the LONGOTON® system contribute to this effectively.
