Skyscraper 300 Lafayette
A special glaze was developed for the 7-storey business and residential building in SoHo "300 Lafayette". At the request of Cookfox Architects, a craquelure appearance was to be achieved here. This surface is characterised by a network of small cracks and fissures and is used, for example, for ceramic, glass and gemstones. At a distance, an exciting glimmer is produced on the tiles by this special glaze. Viewed from nearby, one recognises the sophisticated color play and the unique structure of the tiles.
