Special Formats

LONGOTON® ceramic facades are available on request in various special formats.
Below you can see a selection of examples.

Design elements such as baguettes and lamellas are primarily used for shading, but also serve to complement the facade in a creative way. Below you can see examples of shading elements in use.

Shading

Baguettes
Additional design element for facade sections, like windows, vents, air conditioners, passages, exterior hallways or stairways, as a visual screen and or light screen in front of glass, but also as a creative complement to the facade, through which the unity of the building complex is reinforced.

Regular formats for baguettes are::
- Cross sections 40 mm x 40 mm, 50 mm x 50 mm, 60 mm x 60 mm
  or special cross section on request
- Lengths up to approx. 1500 mm per single tile element
- Lengths up to approx. 2000 mm per prefabricated baguette element
  (several tile elements threaded onto an aluminium tube)

Lamella
The lamella is a facade element in flattened form. Ideally the lamella is used for shading. It can produce a facade surface that is virtually screened from both light and view through appropriate mechanical arrangement by longitudinal rotation.

Lamellas can be integrated in the facade concept both horizontally and vertically.

Lengths of up to 3000 mm are possible.
