LONGOTON® Facade tile
The curtain wall, back-ventilated and thermally insulated facade – the ideal construction principle for exterior walls. While the body of the building gets a protective sheath, more importantly the structural characteristics complement each other in a perfect facade system, which is innovative, maintenance-free, ecological, economical, and which offers great design potential.
MOEDING LONGOTON® the facade tile in attractive large format. Tile heights of 150 - 1000 mm, tile lengths up to 3000 mm.
The structure is similar to the the familiar MOEDING ALPHATON® system, consisting of four basic components:
- Aluminium vertical profile
- Aluminium holder
- Aluminium joint profile
- Tile element
The LONGOTON® clay tile facade is a product that has building inspectorate approval in Germany (Z - 33.1 531). As part of continuous quality testing for compliance with approval specifications, the products are additionally tested by independent institutions. The system satisfies the requirements listed in DIN 18516 Part 1 for curtain-wall, back-ventilated facades.
